Shadow — Stone

Time on stone. Shadow is a large, crisp digital clock carved into a matte natural-stone dial. You read the time at a glance; the dial's character comes from the material, not the typeface.

NUMERALS CARVED IN STONE
The digits are carved into the stone: a dark recessed body gives depth and a bright lower rim catches the light, completing the engraving. The stone itself glitters quietly — tiny mica crystals twinkle in the surface, and a soft light glides along the engraved outer ring to mark the seconds.

LIGHT AND SHADOW
A matte raking light from the upper right grazes the surface; the lower left stays in cool shade. There is no bright hotspot — the light is low, matte and directional, like real stone. A single soft shadow wedge sweeps the dial as the hours pass, its tip marked in the stone's own metal.

RAISE YOUR WRIST
When the dial wakes, the long light-and-shadow sweep across the stone glides once, gently, and settles. Understated, about a second, low contrast. Prefer it still? Turn Animations off and the sweep stays on its frozen final frame — the dial never changes.
